Trash Book Project

Trash is everywhere in the world. But trash is different, handled differently. Trash can be reduced, reused, recycled. Pick up some trash and see what you can do with it! Maybe weight it, measured it, understand what it is made of, maybe you can make art of it. Trash can also be compared! Pick up trash and share it with students in other Global Buddy Schools. Maybe your trash is regarded as a treasure somewhere else in the world!

The purpose of Trash Book is to increase knowledge about recycling and enhance global understanding amongst young people. All schools who are members in Global Buddy Schools are entitled to be connected to another buddy school somewhere in the world and use the pedagogical tools about recycling provided on this site.

The material provided may be used to the extent the teacher feels fit the local curriculum. Trash Book may also be integrated or serve as a complement to other recycling initiatives. It has been designed to be adjustable to different settings and ambitious levels.
